The Norsk symposium i biosystematikk is designed to promote Norwegian scientists who study any aspect of biosystematics, to provide a national forum for early-career and advanced researchers to present their work. Previously the Norwegian biosystematics community met separately at the annual ForBio and Artsdatabanken meetings—this year we are meeting together.
You do not need to be a member of ForBio to attend the meeting. However, if you want to join ForBio please click here. You also do not need to have a Artsdatabanken-funded Artsprosjektet. However, if you are interested in submitting an Artsprosjektet proposal please click here.
We hope that the Norsk symposium i biosystematikk will gather scientists and students to talk about their projects and current results, to share experiences on methods, and support networking within the scientific community in the field of biosystematics. We encourage early-career researchers in particular to use this meeting as an opportunity to present and discuss their own research in front of a friendly audience and to meet their peers.
