ForBio will organize its third training program for incoming and outgoing fellows applying for postdoctoral research grants from the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions (MSCA) Individual Fellows program. The program runs from June 1st to the tentative submission deadline of the H2020 MSCA-IF call on September 11th 2019. The training includes match-making between fellows and hosts, coaching, an intensive 3-day workshop at the Marine Biological Research Station in Drøbak, 12-14 June 2019, writing support, peer review, and liaison with EU coordination offices.

Target group: Academically-engaged senior PhD students, postdocs and junior researchers. Including IF programs ER-ST (Standard European), ER-CAR (Career Restart Grant), ER-SE (Society and Enterprise), ER-RI (Reintegration), and GF (Global). We aim to have a mixed group of incoming and outgoing fellows.

Costs and registration: Incoming fellows to Norway are eligible for the PES2020 program and the course fee and travel will be covered if a MSCA-IF proposal is submitted. PES2020 funds are provided to Norwegian universities by the Norwegian Research Council and can be used to cover expenses made in preparation of MSCA-IF proposals (~15000 NKr). The waived course fee is 6000 Nkr and includes organization, consultants, invited alumni, lunches, accommodation, proposal peer review and coaching. PES2020 funds can be used to cover your travel to Norway, and we can help you organise this. Outgoing and participants incoming to or outgoing from other countries than Norway will need to pay the course fee, plus their own travel. Confused?
