Transmitting Science and ForBio course: Introduction to Natural Science Illustration

ForBio is initiating a collaboration with Transmitting Science, and this course is the first co-organized course that we are teaching.

This collaborative course offers a broad introduction to scientific illustration applied to Biological Sciences, and to a lesser degree Palaeontology. It includes general elements in the production of a scientific illustration for editorial publishing. It is also intended to give a hands-on overview of the most current technological advances in the field, such as basic computer graphics applied to science illustration and 3D modeling. Practical examples will be selected based on the applicants’ interests and suggestions.

A maximum of 8 ForBio members can attend, on a first come first serve basis.

Application deadline is November 15, 2015.
