ForBio course: Subarctic terrestrial field course at Kevo, Finland

­Preliminary announcement

This field course in northern subarctic Finland will provide PhD students and postdocs in biosystematics with field experience and species identification skills. Specialists will lead field excursions and identification sessions on lichens, bryophytes and vascular plants, and possibly insects.

Place: Kevo Subarctic Research Institute.

Teachers: Kimmo Jääskeläinen (lichens), Sanna Huttunen & Kimmo Syrjänen (bryophytes), Heidi Solstad & Reidar Elven (vascular plants), Jostein Kjærandsen (insects).
